Peter Obi should be blamed for Flood in Nibo not Obiano – Fmr PG Nibo

Following the allegation leveled against governor Willie Obiano’s led administration on Thursday, by the PDP flag bearer for the forthcoming governorship election of the state, Oseloka H. Obaze, over the poor condition of Nibo-Isiagu bypass road which he (Obaze) was quoted to have said was an evidence of government not working in the state, has been squashed by the former president general of the community, Hon Okey Goodluck Nwankwo who said that Ex-governor Peter Obi should be blamed for having a poor design for the said road during his administration, noting that Obaze was a pathological liar for linking Obiano as the cause.

The Secretary to Governor Obiano’s campaign flag off committee equally said that Obaze hoped to use blackmail to dislodge Obiano from office. Recall that Obaze was quoted to have said “This problem was created by the current State government who issued license for a market at Nibo-Isiagu road, subsequently blocking the drainage channel.” However, newsmen gathered that Obaze turn back with his convoy for an alternative route due to heavy flood that besieged Nibo-Isiagu bypass road and on leaving moaned  that ‘government should solve problems and not create them’. On his part Okey Nwankwo stated categorically that similar roads done by Mr Peter Obi’s administration in the State are failing because of poor quality. He said emphatically without mincing words that Nibo ring road was done by Mr Peter Obi’s administration and that the road has failed up to 75percent He equally said that Oseloka Obaze and his godfather Mr Peter Obi should bury their heads in shame for executing substandard projects that cannot withstand the test of time in Anambra State. He absolved Governor Obiano of any blame for the flood that is wrecking havoc and praised the Governor for his good works in Nibo community. In his words “Obiano should not be blamed for the flood wrecking havoc on us, Peter Obi should take all the blames for having a poor design. I commend the hard work of Obiano and his attitude of cleaning Mr Peter Obi’s mess in Anambra State. He also said that the 20million naira community project in Nibo is ongoing and that the project was not responsible for the flooding of Nibo community. Hon Goodluck, further assured opposition leaders in Anambra State that their hope of using blackmail to dislodge Governor Obiano is already a dashed hope because the people of the State knows the truth and cannot be deceived with concocted tissue of lies
