Riyad Mahrez is hoping to clinch a stunning dream £50million move to Barcelona.
Leicester 's 2016 PFA player of the year has been given permission to leave Algeria's international camp to finalise a transfer with an unspecified club.
The star has been keen to quit the King Power Stadium since the end of last season after previously helping them win the title.
MirrorSport now understands attacking ace Mahrez, 26, is hoping Barca table a huge irresistible bid for his services.
Mahrez's representatives are believed to have held talks with the Spanish club this week.
They hope a move could happen with Liverpool stubbornly refusing to sell Philippe Coutinho to La Liga club.If Spanish giants Barca do bid for Mahrez they will be expected to meet his £50m price tag.
Italian club Roma have previously had bids rejected for Mahrez as they have failed to get near the star's valuation.
